Our first travel log!
In “Amy’s Travel Log,” my muslim friend Amy who lives in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese(!) will share her experience of the 2 weeks holiday in Japan with her cousins. It’s actually from last year but you will find a lot of useful information from her story. Generous Amy has shared her whole itinerary from the places she visited and the food she had to the train pass she used. Thank you Amy, Muhammad Irwan and Muhammad Aliff for sharing!
Two of my cousins, Muhammad Irwan and Muhammad Aliff, came to Japan for holidays from 21st February to 3rd March 2015. Luckily, there are lots of information for tourist spots and tips in websites and book guides to refer to. The main website/guide we used were Japan guide (http://www.japan-guide.com/) and Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau‘s Tokyo handy guide book (www.gotokyo.org/en/).
Since they stayed for almost 2 weeks, they had the chance to go around cities in Tokyo Metropolis for 4 days, Kansai region for 3 days, and theme parks in Tochigi and Chiba prefecture a day each. Not only they visited the modern cities of Japan, but they also get to connect with the traditional culture. Detailed schedule is written in the section below. Their total expenses for the whole trip were about BND2K-3.5K (160K-290K yen).
Thoughts on the trip
Muhammad Irwan: “Enjoyable, fun & memorable trip to all places. Weather is nice & cozy. Friendly reception & customer service.”
Muhammad Aliff: “Awesome trip and good food. 2 weeks is not enough.”
In the next post, she will share their favorites Japanese food, sightseeing spots, and places for shopping! And a lot of photos 😀
